Ingredients:
- Manoli (Ivy gourd, Tondekayi in kannada, Tendli in hindi ) 1/2 kg Kadle (Bengal Gram, or Chana ) 1/4 kg
- Salt to Taste
For Masala:
- Red Chillies 10- 12 nos
- Corriander Seed 21/2 tsp
- Cumin seed 1 1/2 tsp
- Fenugreek Seeds 1pinch
- Turmeric 1/4 tspn
- Onion 1
- Garlic flakes 2
- Grated Coconut 1 cup
For Seasoning:
Method:
Soak kadle (Bengal Gram ) overnight.
In a tawa, add little oil, then add red chillies, fenugreek seeds (methi dana) fry till light brown then add corriander seeds, cumin seeds fry a till golden brown. and add sliced onion fry for a while. All these ingredients remove from gas and let it cool. Then Grind it in a grinder make fine paste. keep aside. gind grated coconut 1 round in grinder, (other wise you can add grated coconut directly )
