Bende Kayi Upkari - Lady's finger Upkari

Ingredients:

1 kg lady's finger
1 onion
1 cup coconut gratings
2 tsp oil for seasoning
 5 green chillies
1/4 tsp mustard seeds for seasoning
curry leaves - 1 twig
salt to taste
lemon sized tamarind

METHOD

Wash and cut lady's finger into small piece and keep aside

In a pan add oil and mustard seeds, when it splutters add onion, curryleaves and greenchillies. Fry for a few minutes. Then add lady's finger and tamarind water. Let it cook on a low flame till it becomes tender and is cooked properly.
  Now it is ready to serve. It can be used as side dish with Rice.
